Rainy days make our back deck super busy on co-op day.
SO funny, multiple kids talking on multiple home made telephones, stretching out so many 5m length pieces of wool, trying not to get tangled and trying not to get rained on π€£π
This feels like the heart of how we need to be moving forward in these crazy times and THE most important thing we need to support our children to focus on
ARE YOU FEELING ISOLATED ON YOUR HOMESCHOOL JOURNEY?
Our Sunshine Coast homeschool community is absolutely booming, yet many families are exiting the education system and feeling lost and totally out to sea.
Without school as an anchor for finding friends and a sense of belonging, what does community look like?
How do we find our people?
How can we bring families together to create that "village" that everyone says we need to raise children?
Home Education Qld Inc has an awesome webinar coming up this week with myself and a panel of experienced homeschoolers discussing building co-ops and supportive homeschool communities.
This is free for members and only $5 for non-members.
We look forward to sharing with you πΌ

Yay for sunshine! The kids spent heaps of time in the playground and on the trampoline with the sprinkler on π But they also learnt a lot about minbeasts πππͺ²ππππ¦ a term that covers all the insects, arachnids, gastropods etc that we would find in our garden. Mariska organised some great activities for us and we all now have gorgeous little bug hotels to use at our homes πΌπ
