I remember when I was young and had a cold, people would tell me I should have some chicken noodle soup. So I`d tear open a pack and add hot water to it, thinking yeah, this will help me 😏😆

As I got older it occurred to me, how is this supposed to be any help to me??

Now, I get it. Home made bone broth, lots of veg, a good wack of ginger and garlic and rice noodles to fill me up.

This and rest is how I`m nourishing my body through my head cold today.

Self love looks like this 🥰

Sometimes I think our schedule is too full and I should skip the homeschool park meet-ups, but then we have a day like today with heaps of awesome mamas and kids, my daughter happily playing with friends, my son meeting new friends and a pop-up birthday party in the sun, and I am SO glad we go 🥰
