At co-op today, Talia taught us about the Jewish tradition of tikkun olam, repairing the world by giving back to a place or people. We had a beautiful day making the most lovely sun catchers, had a fun birthday celebration for Madi and everyone enjoyed getting to know our new guinea pigs, Roxy and Winnie.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again next week for a park play 🥰

Building trusting relationships is so important for our kids.
With new kids still finding their feet in our co-op, we are all very focused on supporting our kids to build connections. For Deb`s first activity for the group, she focused on the value of trust. All activities where the kids work in pairs help to build a foundation of trust, and this one where the kids lead each other blindfolded around an obstacle was also lots of fun! They had a great time and kept playing the game for ages 💕

This is Rob`s family`s first term with our co-op and, after watching how other parents have contributed learning activities each week, it was his turn to give it a go.
By tapping into the needs and interests of his kids, he identified that some team building activities may help them connect with their new friends.
He contributed some great activities combining stories, construction and getting-to-know you games.
Awesome work Rob! The kids had lots of fun!
