Our gorgeous little Crunchy Co-op in Glenview now has space for another family!

We are a small group of 6 families atm, with learning planned and facilitated by parents and an ex Montessori teacher.
Our values include natural health and immunity, gentle parenting and non-violent communication. Our children are sensitive and kind and we would be open to families who resonate with this with kids aged 4-7 years.

Our sessions are 9.30-12.30 every Thursday, $20 per child per session, $10 for siblings, with a term's commitment required.

DM me for a free trial session if this sounds like it meets your family's needs 🌼

From a simple theme, "Building Our World", our resourceful co-op parents have come up with some amazing activities! Today, the kids built towers using wooden pegs and craft sticks. They were at it for ages and were totally engaged. Thanks Divya Singh! So much fun 🥰

RESPONSE TO PROPOSED LEGISLATION CHANGES

*IMPORTANT EGPA INFO*

STEP 1: Follow this post and await the contact details tomorrow to send!

~~~~~~~~
Important information and TODAYS TASK
HEU emailed “everyone” (Ok we are well aware it wasn’t everyone at all!) who is registered, with information about how to contact the committee and send your submissions saying you don’t want this. Their information was wrong.
The email includes a link to contact information that doesn’t yet exist. The contact details will be added to that link some time on Monday.
What we would love to do is crash their site on Monday with an overwhelming number of submissions sent AS SOON AS it becomes available 🙂
STEP 2:
So today’s job is to write your submission and have it ready to send out tomorrow.
I’m hopeful we will get a few templates up today to help you all but there are already a bunch of reponses in the EGPA Changes to Home Ed Discussion group to draw ideas from.
Post more here in the comments if you like!
State clearly-
1. We don’t want this (we don’t want the national curriculum in our legislation!)
2. Say why it’s a problem for your family.
3. Tell a story about why, give an example.
4. Include any quotes, the legislation, current practice if it proves your point.
5. Stay on topic.
Let’s make some noise!
